Privacy Policy

Respira ("we", "us", "our") operates the Respira mobile application (the "App") for members of Respira Studio in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. We are committed to handling your personal data in accordance with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).

Information we collect

When you create an account and use the App, we collect:

Account information: your full name, email address, and phone number.
Emergency contact: a phone number you provide for use in emergencies.
Health information: details you choose to share during onboarding, including injuries, physical conditions, and pregnancy status. This is sensitive personal data and is used only to keep you safe during sessions.
Practice preferences: your experience level, preferred intensity, and movement goals.
Booking and membership records: your class bookings, attendance, cancellations, package balances, and session history.
Waiver acceptance: a record that you accepted our liability waiver, including the version and timestamp.
Device information: a push notification token used to deliver notifications, and basic technical data required for the App to function.

We do not collect or store payment card details in the App. Payments for packages and products are handled directly with the studio.

How we use your information

To create and manage your account.
To let you browse and book classes, and to manage your membership and session balance.
To share relevant health information confidentially with your instructor before a session, for your safety.
To send you class reminders, booking confirmations, waitlist updates, and studio announcements.
To respond to your requests and provide customer support.
To operate, maintain, and improve the App.

Legal basis and consent

We process your personal data based on your consent and as necessary to provide the services you request. You provide explicit consent to process your health information when you complete the onboarding intake. You may withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your account or contacting us.

Service providers

We use trusted third parties to operate the App. They process data only on our instructions:

Supabase — hosts our database, authentication, and storage. Data is hosted on secure servers in the European Union (Frankfurt region).
Expo — delivers push notifications to your device, via Apple Push Notification service.
Apple — operates the App Store through which the App is distributed.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with advertisers, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Data retention

We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active. When you request account deletion, your account is deactivated immediately and your data is permanently deleted within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain records.

Your rights

Under the Saudi PDPL, you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
Request deletion of your data.
Withdraw your consent to processing.

You can update most of your information directly in the App. You can delete your account from Profile > Settings > Delete account. For any other request, contact us using the details below.

Data security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and role-based permissions that restrict who can view your information. While no system is completely secure, we work to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

Children

The App is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
